IP Video Testing with the FrameScope Pro
IPTV Testing Overview
The FrameScope Pro IPTV test delivers the network
performance measurement solutions that help you install and
maintain IPTV.
The IP Video test is designed to help technicians perform the
following operations.
•
Verify Layer 1 to 3 network connectivity and the connection
to the IPTV server
•
Initiate IPTV streaming to receive video at the customer
premise
•
Measure the IPTV QoS and compare the IPTV QoS with the
established SLA or internal limits
•
Identify the root cause of any service problem
•
Generate test reports
The IPTV feature is controlled by license Option N2620A-070
and N2620A-071. Refer to
page 163 for information on activating this feature.
