Locating Switch Ports
The FrameScope Pro allows you to identify the switch ports
accessed by the FrameScope Pro or any address on the network.
The FrameScope Pro will only locate switches that are in the
same network. Therefore, you will need to know the correct
community string and port.
This section describes how to operate the Locate Switch Port
tool.
1 Press Tools on the Main Menu to display the Tools menu.
2 Press Locate Switch Port on the Tools menu to display the
Locate Switch Port screen.
3 Select This FrameScope in the Target panel to locate the
current FrameScope Pro or type in the name or address of
the device to locate.
