Just navigate over to your Mp3 player (assuming it is plugged into a USB
port and is acting as a hard drive for your computer) or whatever folder you
are using to hold your Mp3 files. Either open an existing configuration ‘Mp3-
50.cfg’ file, or do a ‘Save As...’ to create one.
The ‘Mp3 Configurator’ program has all the standard Windows pull-
downs for opening and saving shows:
The Under the ‘Type’ Pulldown, you should select whether you are con-
figuring a Mp3-50 (Audio only) or a Mp3-50/8 or Mp3-50/40 (Audio and
Show Control), or a Mp3-50/8 or Mp3-50/40 with the ‘Atomic’ clock option
installed. The audio-only Mp3-50 configuration uses only the first four tabs
of the ‘Mp3 Configurator’ program. The Audio & Show Control Mp3-50/8
and Mp3-50/40 use six tabs tabs. With the ‘Atomic’ clock option, all seven
tabs are used.
You can manually configure your Mp3-50, Mp3-50/8 or Mp3-50/40
player, but for the majority of users the defaults will do everything they
