When in this mode the ‘EARLY STARTS’ should be set to
‘IGNORE’ on all of your shows. Any binary show number re-
ceived by the serial port for more than ten times will trigger
that show. Typically the transmitters are placed along the
path of the vehicle’s travel to trigger the appropriate anima-
tion and audio sequences at the appropriate times.
Brick Address: This sets the serial address which will be used to ac-
cess the Mp3-50/8 or Mp3-50/40 through the serial port. Al-
though it is often set to the same addresses the First Animation
Channel, it can be set to any value form 0 to 255. If more than
on Mp3-50/8 or Mp3-50/40 is on the same serial port, they must
all have unique addresses. When accessing the Mp3-50/8 or
Mp3-50/40 through GilderTerm, this is the value you enter for the
‘Card Address’.
Repeater MPU Control Channel: This sets the address of the data
which will be sent from the Show Control side of the Mp3-50/8 or
Mp3-50/40 to the ‘MPU Input’ to control the Mp3 Player. Valid ad-
dress ranges are from 0-255 if ‘DMX Checksums’ are ON. Address-
es from 1-512 can be used if ‘DMX Checksums’ are OFF.
First Animation Channel: This sets the address of the data which will
be sent out the Show Control outputs. Valid address ranges are
from 0-255 if ‘DMX Checksums’ are ON. Addresses from 1-512
can be used if ‘DMX Checksums’ are OFF.
On a Mp3-50/8, the channel entered will be sent out the 1/4
