3) Click ‘OK’ to create these channels.
When you have finished programming your show you will
AutoDownload it to the Mp3-50/8. Set the ‘First Channel’ to ‘0’
and the ‘Last Channel’ to ‘0’ on the PC•MACs File Pulldown/Save
as AutoDownload.... window.
In the Mp3 Configurator Program:
1) Track Setup Tab: Point it at your SmartMedia card and set as
needed.
2) PlayLists Tab: Set up as needed, if needed.
3) Audio Tab: Set audio levels and EQ as needed. Disable Re-
alTime Audio Level Control. Enable/Disable amplifier as
needed.
4) Input Tab: You will be overlapping this input channel with
the Show Control outputs of the Mp3-50/8. Set up some of
the inputs to select and start AudioFiles, as needed. Don’t
forget to save a few outputs for the Show control!
5) MPU Input Tab: You will be using the Optoisolated inputs in
this case. Disable ALL of the MPU Inputs.
6) Serial Control Tab: The Brick Address is usually set at '0', un-
less you will be accessing the card using Net Serial com-
mands. The Repeater Control Channel is unused, so it can
be set anywhere. First animation Channel Number must be
set to '0'. Disable/Enable Net Serial and IR Trigger modes if
needed (these are
usually
disabled)
7) DMX-512 Control Tab: Enable DMX-512 Control, unless you
are using MIDI, Net Serial or IR Trigger Modes. Enable DMX-
512 checksums if you will be feeding DMX-512 from any
Gilderfluke & Company products (
usually
enabled). The Re-
peater Control Channel and First Animation channel num-
ber were set on a previous tab.
8) MIDI Control Tab: Disable MIDI, unless you plan to use it.
Disable MIDI Notes Trigger Animation Playback, unless you
plan to use it. Set MIDI Channel Number and Animation First
Note number if you will be using MIDI, otherwise, ignore
them.
9) Flash Setup Tab: Enable Animation from Flash, unless you
will never be using the onboard show storage.
