load file found on the SmartMedia card will be downloaded
to the Show Controller’s Flash memory the next time the
Mp3-50/8 or Mp3-50/40 is reset. The names of the last file
downloaded to the Flash is shown, as well as the current
name of the AutoDownload file found on the SmartMedia
Card. The Mp3 Configurator will try to figure out if the
AutoDownload file has changed in any way, and will auto-
matically check this checkbox if it thinks that it has.
Always Download Current File to Flash on Boot: When
checked, the AutoDownload file found on the SmartMedia
card will be downloaded to the Show Controller’s Flash
memory EVERY time the Mp3-50/8 or Mp3-50/40 is reset.
This will take an extra bit of time each time the Mp3-50/8 or
Mp3-50/40 reboots for the download to take place. Since
this usually only happens when power is first applied to a
show, it shouldn’t be too inconvenient in most cases. This
checkbox is also used if you will be distributing a series of
shows to multiple locations. Since the shows download on
each reboot, swapping cards in and out of the Mp3-50/8 or
Mp3-50/40 won’t cause any problems.
