Mp3-50 Configurator: MPU Control Setup
(Mp3-50/8, and Mp3-50/40)
This window is used to setup:
1) Modes for the DMX-512/MIDI serial port.
2) RS-232 Serial Port Address.
3) Show Control Channel used for the MPU Control Channel.
4) First Show Control channel sent out the Show Control Outputs.
5) Settings for the Show Control Flash Memory.
6) Show Control file to send to the flash, and when it should be sent.
DMX/MIDI/Serial Setup: The DMX-512/MIDI serial port is used by
the Show Control side of the Mp3-50/8 or Mp3-50/40. It can be
set up to receive data, or transmit data, but not to do both at the
same time. If receiving data, the DMX-512/MIDI serial port output
will buffer and repeat whatever is received on the input.
Enable DMX-512 Transmission:
Turning this mode on disables
DMX-512, MIDI, IR Triggers and Net Serial input on the DMX-
512/MIDI serial port.
Data for this DMX-512 output stream comes from either
the RS-232 serial port if the Mp3-50/8 or Mp3-50/40 is
