Totalizer Block

TRANSITION INPUTS:
The transition inputs are evaluated in this order each time the block executes HOLD, RUN,
STOP and RESET. For example if a RUN, STOP and RESET transition is detected on the
same block execution cycle the total count will be reset to the reset value and the totalizer be
in the run condition, but no new counts will be added on any cycle where a reset is detected.
HOLD
The mode can be changed to Hold by:

the Hold Input
•
the Stop Input
•
the Command attribute
•
writing to the Mode Status attribute
RUN
The mode can be changed to Run by:
•
the Run Input
•
the Reset Input
•
the Command attribute
•
writing to the Mode Status attribute
STOP
A Stop can be initiated by:
•
the Stop Input
•
the Command attribute
Initiating a Stop will set the Total Count to the low limit if direction is UP or to the high limit if
direction is DOWN and the Mode will be set to hold.
RESET
A Reset can be initiated by:
•
the Reset Input
•
the Command attribute
Initiating a Reset will set the Total Count to the low limit if direction is UP or to the high limit if
direction is DOWN and the Mode will be set to run.
