Supported audio files are .wav (48KHz, 16 bits or 24 bits).

Audio files are referenced in the Elements grid with a low resolution file icon and with a
high resolution file icon but both clip elements point at the same file which will be used as
a low resolution file or as a high resolution file according to the Xedio workstation format.

Still Files

Supported still files are .tga, .jpg, .tiff, and .bmp.

Still files are referenced in the Elements grid with a low resolution file icon and with a high
resolution file icon but both clip elements point at the same file which will be used as a
low resolution file or as a high resolution file according to the Xedio workstation format.

Logo Files

Supported logo files are .km.

Logo files are considered as Audio/Video files by IPDirector.

They are referenced in the Elements grid with a low resolution file icon and/or with a high
resolution file icon, the two clip elements being actually two distinct files.

Nearline Contextual Menu

A contextual menu is available when right-clicking a nearline name in the Tree view. The
following table describes the commands:

Command

Description

New Directory

Opens the Create Directory window. The new directory is
created under the selected nearline.

Search New File in
Directory and Sub-
Directory

Compares the database content and the selected directory and
its sub-directories. If the system finds a new file, it adds it to the
database.

items from the database and then inserts all the items found in
the directory. IPDirector checks the presence of new files or the
absence of files referenced previously and updates the
directory content.

Re-Scan Directory
and Sub-Directory

The system re-scans the selected directory and its sub-
directories: it erases all the items from the database and then
inserts all the items found in the directory and its sub-
directories.

Stop Scan

Stops the ongoing scanning operation.
