6. Managing Media Items
6.1 Pane Bins Area
Purpose
The Pane Bins area, located on the left part of the main window, allows the user to
manage the edits and all the elements which can be used in edits.
The items visibility depends on the user rights granted to the logged user.
Contextual menus are available from most of the items in the Tree view and the Elements
grid. They allow specific operations to be done on the selected item.
Drag-and-drop operations are allowed between or from some of the Pane Bins items.
They are mentioned in the following sections.
Hiding and Displaying the Pane Bins Area
The Pane Bins area can be hidden or displayed by clearing or selecting the Bins option
from the View menu in the main Menu bar.
If you want to extend it, move the mouse to the border between the Pane Bins area and
the Work area and left-click the mouse when the mouse cursor changes to .
