Verify the displayed leg is the desired leg and press the ENT Key. Note in Figure 5-98, the magenta arrow in
the flight plan window and magenta line on the map indicating V4 is now the active flight plan leg. Note also,
the crosstrack (XTK) distance on the HSI indicating 16.9 nm to the intercept point.

The aircraft continues on heading 290º. When 2.0 nm from the intercept, the XTK will disappear from the
HSI and the CDI will be positioned on the last dot indicating a 2.0 nm distance from the centerline of the next
course.

As the CDI approaches center, the aircraft turns onto the active leg as seen in Figure 5-99.
