Product Stops Printing Unexpectedly

If your product stops printing unexpectedly, try these solutions:

• Make sure the power cable is securely connected.

• Check the messages on the control panel. If an error has occurred, follow the instructions on the

screen to clear the error.

• If an error occurs during printing, the print queue enters

Pause

status and stops printing. Do one of the

following to check the status of the print queue:

• In Windows, double-click the printer icon in the

Devices and Printers

,

Printers

, or

Printers and

Faxes

folder; if printing is paused, open the

Printer

menu and clear the

Pause

check box.

• On a Mac, select

System Preferences

>

Printers & Scanners

or

Print & Fax

>

Open Print

Queue

. Double-click the icon for any printer that is

Paused

and click

Resume Printer

.

• If an error occurs during printing with the Adobe Embedded Print Engine, check the following:

Note:

The Adobe Embedded Print Engine is not available on SureColor

P6570DE/P6570E/T3770DE/T3770E.

• Make sure the paper width does not exceed the width of the printer. Try enabling the

Auto Rotate

function or change the input data or the print settings so that the print width fits the width of the
printer.

• Make sure the selected paper type is supported.

• The print data may be corrupted. Check the data and correct it, if necessary.

• If the print data is too complicated to process when printing a PDF file, try lowering the PDF

rendering level in

Printer Settings

>

PS Settings

.

• Make sure the file size is 2 GB or less.

• Print a PS Error sheet (

Printer Settings

>

PS Settings

) and check the messages on the report to

help determine the cause of the problem.
