Replacing Tape Drives
PLS200 Library Installation and Operation

Remove the Tape Drive
1. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, loosen the two captive screws on the drive
carrier faceplate (see Figure 5-1).
2. Using your finger, pull out the lever on the faceplate.
CAUTION: Do not pull out the lever without first loosening the screws.
CAUTION: To avoid possible damage to the tape drive, do not remove it from
the drive carrier.
3. Pull the tape drive out of the slot.
