Performing Diagnostics
This chapter describes how to use the LCD Diagnostics Menu to test the library
hardware. It also provides information about using the serial ports to perform
diagnostics on the library and tape drives.
Using the LCD Diagnostics Menu
The Diagnostic Menu provides basic functions to test or exercise the following
hardware components:
• CHM and drum assembly
• Bar code scanner
• Entry/exit port
• Solenoid on the front door
