Installing the Library Hardware
Use the following table as a checklist for installing the library.
WARNING: Before performing any installation or maintenance procedures,
be sure that the library power switch is in the off position and that the power
cord is disconnected from the library and the outlet.
✔ Step Description
1 Install the library into a rack
2 Unlatch and open the door
3 Remove the packing foam
4 Move the CHM
5 Prepare and install cartridges in magazines
6 Install the magazines in the library
7 Install a cleaning cartridge
8 Close the library door
9 Connect the SCSI cables
10 Connect the power cord
11 Power on the library
12 Complete the SCSI adapter board software update
