11 Troubleshooting
This chapter describes possible error messages / malfunctions, causes and remedies. If the error / feedback cannot be corrected by the
remedy described, please contact ebm-papst.

11.1 error handling
The error handling should evaluate errors in 5 categories:
1. Error has no consequences for the drive.
- Ballast diagnostics error
- Overcurrent at braking chopper
2. Error with consequence „emergency run“ with error speed.
- PWM setpoint detection detects error
- Freq setpoint detection detects error
- RS485 timeout
3. Errors, which lead to short-term shutdown (cycle by cycle) of the power FETs.
