10. If the unit is a Model SPDW113, remove the U-bolt securing the heat exchanger support
bar (see paragraph 8.9 and Figure 8-18). If the unit is a Model SPDW61, remove the U-
bolt and "L" bracket at the rear of the heat exchanger mount to permit the pressure plate
to be moved.
11. Opening of the heat exchanger is now possible by loosening diagonally-opposite pairs
(Figure 8-9). Opening must be carried out evenly so that the pressure plate is not out-of-
parallel with the frame plate by more than 3/8" (2 turns per bolt) in the horizontal plane
and 1" in the vertical plane.
