channel may not (in rare instances) initially detect a damaged SpO

sensor or
extension cable (as described in EN865:1997, Section 51.109), but may simply display a flat line and no numerics. If this occurs, try
connecting a new SpO

sensor (and extension cable, if needed) and restart the monitor to resume normal monitoring.
