12.1 Upgrading from Acronis Access to a newer version
The upgrade procedure from a previous version of Acronis Access is a simplified process and requires
almost no configuration.
Note: This procedure can be used only for versions newer than Acronis Access 7.0.
Users upgrading from versions older than Acronis Access 7.0 should upgrade to Acronis Access
Advanced. For more information please consult the Acronis Access Advanced documentation.
Backup the Apache Tomcat folder
On upgrade the Apache Tomcat may be upgraded and all of the current Tomcat configuration files
and log files will be removed. We recommend you make a copy of the Apache Tomcat folder, which
by default is found here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\Access\Common\.
