Compressor keyboard shortcuts
You can use keyboard shortcuts to quickly accomplish many tasks in Compressor. To use a
keyboard shortcut, press all the keys in the shortcut at the same time. Shortcuts for common
commands are listed in the table below.
General Compressor keyboard shortcuts

Bring the History window to the front Command-1
Bring the Preview window to the front Command-2
Bring the Settings tab to the front Command-3
Bring the Destinations tab to the front Command-4
Close the current window Command-Shift-W
Show/hide the Batch window toolbar Command-Option-T
Revert to the original window layout Shift-Control-U
Open the Compressor Preferences window Command-Comma (,)
Create a new batch (the Batch Template Chooser
appears unless it has been disabled) Command-N
Create a new batch (the Batch Template Chooser
