CREATE SNMPV3 VIEW
Syntax
create snmpv3 view=
view
[subtree=OID|text]
mask=
mask
[type=included|excluded]
[storagetype=volatile|nonvolatile]
Parameters
view
Specifies the name of the view, up to 32
alphanumeric characters.
subtree
Specifies the view of the MIB Tree. The options are:
OID
A numeric value in hexadecimal
format.
text
Text name of the view.
mask
Specifies the subtree mask, in hexadecimal format.
type
Specifies the view type. This is an optional
parameter. The options are:
included
Permits a user to view the specified
subtree. This is the default.
excluded
Does not permit a user to view the
specified subtree.
storagetype
Specifies the storage type of this table entry. This is
an optional parameter. The options are:
volatile
Does not allow you to save the table
entry to the configuration file on the
switch. This is the default.
nonvolatile
Allows you to save the table entry to
the configuration file on the switch.
Description
This command creates an SNMPv3 View Table entry.
Examples
The following command creates an SNMPv3 View Table entry called
“internet1” with a subtree value of the Internet MIBs and a view type of
included. The storage type for this table entry is nonvolatile storage.
