4.1.2.2 Power Supply
The CR3000 is powered by a nominal 12 Vdc source. Acceptable power range is
10 to 16 Vdc.
Many CR3000 are supplied with an integrated power supply base. Power to a
power supply base is controlled by a manual switch on the right side of the case,
below the keyboard display.
External power connects through the green POWER IN on the face of the
CR3000. The POWER IN connection is internally reverse-polarity protected.
4.1.2.3 Backup Battery
A lithium battery backs up the CR3000 clock, program, and memory in case of
power loss. See Internal Battery
(p. 76).
