restore interface defaults
Description
Restores interfaces to their factory defaults.
CAUTION:
Using this command forces a reboot of the interface. Ensure that
no backup jobs are in progress before running this command.
Syntax
restore interface defaults interface_num
Availability
All users and manual mode only
Operands
Specify the interface number that will be restored to
factory defaults. All of the interfaces may be restored to
interface_num
factory defaults by specifying all for this operand. This
operand is required.
Examples
To restore the factory defaults on interface 1:
/>restore interface defaults 1
Committing configuration...done
The interface(s) must be rebooted before the new configuration
will take effect.
To restore the factory defaults on all interfaces:
/>restore interface defaults all
Committing configuration… done
The interfaces(s) must be rebooted before the new configuration
will take effect.
