Cautions
CAUTION
1. To prevent damage, ensure the power is off
before connecting the instrument.
2. Ensure the input voltage or current doesn’t
exceed the EXT I/O rating.
3. When using a relay, ensure that a protective
diode is used to limit surge current.
4. Do not short the input or output terminals.
5. Don’t short live and earth lines.
6. Only attempt to operate the instrument after
the external I/O port is properly connected.
