CPR Parameters
The CPR parameters are attributes that relate to the E Series Real CPR Help
®
functionality and
include:

Display CPR Compression Bar Graph
•
CPR Record Data to Card
•
CPR Guidance Audio Prompts
•
CPR Compression Metronome
•
Target CPR Depth
•
Display Fully Release Prompt
Display CPR Compression Bar Graph
When set to Yes, this parameter specifies that the CPR compression bar graph will
automatically replace the second waveform on the E Series display whenever chest
compressions are detected.
Values are as follows:
CPR Record Data to Card
This parameter, when set to Yes, causes CPR data to be recorded to the PCMCIA card
whenever CPR-D•padz
®
are in use. This parameter can be set to Yes only if Record ECG Data
in Advisory Mode is set to Yes.
Values are as follows:
CPR Guidance Audio Prompts
This parameter allows you to select the modes in which CPR-related audio prompts will be
issued, Semi-Auto Only (default), Yes (Manual and Semi-Auto), or No (no prompts regardless
of mode). In Semi-Auto Only, or Yes, the audio prompts are:
•
PUSH HARDER when the detected compression depth is consistently less than the target
CPR depth.
•
GOOD COMPRESSIONS when
the rescuer respon
ds by increasing compression depth to
the target CPR depth or more.
