Daylight Savings
This parameter allows you to specify whether the E Series unit automatically adjusts the time
for Daylight Savings when you dial the selected NIST location or sync the clock via GPS. If the
selected time zone does not adhere to Daylight Savings, this parameter will be set to No.
Values are as follows:

When this parameter is set to Yes, and more than two weeks pass without any form of time
synchronization, the unit will display a warning whenever it is powered down stating that time
synchronization is required.

2. Select Clock Synchronization, and press the
Change Value softkey.
The Clock Synchronization parameters screen is
displayed.
3. Use the Prev Item or Next Item softkeys to scroll
through the list of parameters and highlight the
one you want to change.
Press the Change Value softkey.
4. Modify the parameters using the softkeys as
follows:
• For Time Zone and Dial Location, use the
Prev Value and Next Value softkeys to scroll
through and select the desired value, then
press the Enter softkey.
• For Dial Prefix, use the Prev Digit and Next
Digit softkeys to move from one digit to the
next, or to move backward. Use the Inc Digit
and Dec Digit to set the numerical value for
each digit.
Press Enter when you are done setting the Clock
Synchronization parameters, then press Return.
