Printer Parameters
The Print Parameters are attributes that affect the way the strip chart recorder operates and
include:
• Auto Generate Strips
• Print 3 Leads When Leads Sel.
• Custom 5 Wire Grouping in Use
Auto Generate Strips
This parameter allows you to set the strip chart recorder to automatically begin printing after a
defibrillator discharge or whenever alarms are triggered while in Manual mode.
Values are as follows:
Print 3 Leads When Leads Sel.
This parameter allows you to specify whether or not the strip chart recorder automatically
prints 3 simultaneous leads of the patient ECG when Leads are selected and a 5-wire or 10-wire
ECG cable is in use.
Note that 3 leads of patient ECG are printed only when there is no waveform displayed on
Wave 2. If the SpO
2
, EtCO
2
, or Filt ECG waveform is displayed, the unit overrides this
parameter setting and prints the displayed ECG waveform and the waveform displayed on
Wave 2. If the CPR Compression Bar Graph is displayed on Wave 2, the unit prints 3 leads of
the patient ECG.
