Hanning
Better frequency,
poorer magnitude
accuracy than
rectangular
window
Sine, periodic, and narrow-
band random noise.
Hamming
Hamming has a slightly
better frequency
resolution than
Hanning.
Transients or bursts pulse. The
ranges of the signals have great
difference from before to after.
Blackman
Best magnitude
resolution but worst
frequency resolution.
Single frequency waveforms, to
find higher order harmonics.
