Receiving
Auto Select Mode
1. The machine start ringing.
2. You have two options:
❐ Pick up the handset. If a person is at the other end, you can can continue a
normal conversation. However, if it is a fax machine, press the Start key
then replace the handset to receive the message.
❐ Do nothing. The machine keep ringing. After a number of rings (the auto
ring time) the machine will begin to receive a message. You can change the
number of rings (the auto ring time) - see page 49.
FAX Mode
1. The telephone rings once.
2. The machine automatically starts to receive a fax message.
