Giving Priority To Telephone Answering (TAM ) M ode
This mode is selected when the Auto Select Indicator is lit just like Auto Select
Mode. If you receive voice messages, start the indicator blinks.This mode
ensures that the answering machine mode has a chance to respond to incoming
telephone calls. If the call happens to be a fax message, the message will be
given to the fax machine automatically.
If the other party calls you, a recorded message will be played automatically. The
message is fixed at the factory.
Setting up the TA M mode
1. Press the Function key and 6,2,2,2,2,6,2
using the ten keypad. Then press the
Yes key.

2. Press the

key until "SELECT AUTO
RECEIVE MODE" is displayed.

3. Press the Yes key.

4. Press the

and the

key to switch TAM
Mode on.

5. Press the Yes key and the Function key.
6. Make sure that the Auto Select Indicator is lit. If it is not lit, press the
Reception key until it is lit.
Sending a Recorded M essage
When you are in TAM mode, you can choose whether to transmit the recorded
voice message or not. The message is spoken in Chinese.You can not change
this message.
1. Press the Function key and
6,2,2,2,2,6,3 using the ten keypad, then
press the Yes key.
