Home Position Setting Adjustments
For resolution and halftone, you can select whether the settings return to the
home position at the end of transmission (in a new machine, they do). Also, you
can change the settings of the home position. If you need other adjustments,
contact a service representative. The procedure is as follows (see page 102 if you
need more information about the User Parameter Settings adjustment procedure).
1. Press the Function key and
6,2,2,2,2,6,3 using the ten keypad, then
press the Yes key.

At this time, you can print a User Parameter List if
you press the

key.
2. Press the Yes key. The settings for
Switch 00 are now displayed on the bot-
tom line of the display. If you wish to
change to Switch 01, press the
k
key un-
til the settings for Switch 01 are dis-
played.

those for Switch 00 and 01. The functions of these
are as follows.

If you change any of the resolution, transmission mode or halftone
settings before making a transmission, then:
0: The setting(s) will not return to the home position after the
transmission or making copies.
1:The setting(s) will return to the home position after the transmission
or making copies.*
3. If you wish to change one of the set-
tings, press the key on the ten keypad
that corresponds to the digit that you
wish to change. For example press 7 to
change digit 7 of the switch.

4. Finish: Press the Yes key, then press the Function key.
