5. Press the Yes key to store your setting,
then press the Function key.
1. Dial your fax machine.
2. Immediately after hearing the telephone answering machine’s message you
must press the # key.
3. You enter your Remote ID code, then press the # key. A single high-pitched
beep will be heard. This is an Ack tone (Acknowledgment).
4. After hearing the Ack tone, you must press 3,0 and the # key quickly.
5 You can hear the received voice messages from your machine. They will be
played back from the new one.
NOTE: ❐ If you wish to play back again, press 3,0 and #.
❐ If you wish to stop play back, press the # key twice.
6. When you have listened to all messages press the # key twice.
Sometimes during this feature you will hear one or more beeps.
Sound Reason Required Action
One high beep Acknowledgment No problem; keep going.
A short beep three times Rejection Operation error. Try again.
A high beep three times Service code
accepted No problem; keep going.
When you go out, you can confirm whether your machine received new voice
messages or not depending on the number of rings as shown in the following
chart.
Number Of Calling Meaning
2 Your machine received the voice messages.
5 Your machine did not receive the voice message.
If you hang up the telephone within 5 rings, you can save the telephone charges.
