SOLVING PROBLEMS
DOCUMENT JAMS
If the Check Display indicator is lit, and the message "
CLEAR ORIGINAL
"
appears on the display, there is a document jammed in the feeder. Do the
following to remove the jam.
1. Carefully pull open the operation panel
by pulling the top edge of the panel up
and away from the machine
2. Take out the jammed document.
NOTE: ❐ When you pull out the paper in
direction A, slant the operation
panel a little.
❐ If the document will not come
out, push forward the two
green levers. After you have
removed the document
replace the levers.
3. Close the cover until it audibly locks into
place.
NOTE: If you hear an unusual noise when
you are closing the operation panel,
check the green levers have been
pulled down to the bottom correctly.
