Verifying Database Connection
Your IntelliTrack application contains a database that stores your data and
all data transactions. It is located on a PC or network server. In IntelliTrack
v8.x applications, the database is managed by SQL Server or SQL Express.
During application installation, SQL login is set and your IntelliTrack
database is created. To verify database creation and connection, you must
know your SQL Login information (including server name and/or
instance) and your IntelliTrack database name.

Database
The database is created during application installation. When you use the
database that is created during application installation, it is automatically
given a name. The default database name for each application is found in
the table below.
SQL Server
Logon
Information
During application installation, the default logon information for SQL
Server is set as username “sa” and password IntelliTrack#2008. You are
able to change the database name and SQL Server logon information.
However, for SQL 2008, a strong password is required. For more informa-
tion on the SQL login password requirements, see
Strong Password Requirements” on page 214
for more information.
SQL Server 2008 Login Strong Password Requirements
The default IntelliTrack password for SQL Server 2008 login is
IntelliTrack#2008. It is set during application installation. It is a strong
password. If you want to use another password for SQL login, be aware
