Enter a unique Package Track identifier for this carrier in the ID field.
(For example, this can be the carrier’s abbreviation, or if applicable a
scannable identifier for the carrier.)
4.
Enter the name for this carrier in the Description field.
5.
Add any additional comments in the Comments area.
6.
Enter a web address to the carrier’s tracking page in the URL field, if
desired.
Note: Including the web address to the carrier’s tracking page will
include that link in the email notification to the recipient. This gives the
recipient easy access to information about the package (such as who sent
it) from the carrier. For more information about email notifications in
Package Track, refer to
.
7.
Click OK. You are returned to the Carrier list window. The New Car-
rier has been added to the list.
Editing a
Carrier
When you edit a carrier’s record in Package Track, the updates to the
record are applied throughout the application once the changes are saved.
To edit a carrier in your database:
1.
Select the Carrier that you want to edit in the Carrier window, and click
the Edit button.
2.
The Edit Carrier window appears. The information for the selected car-
rier is displayed in this window.
3.
Edit the Carrier Information, as necessary, and then click OK to save
the changes. You are returned to the Carrier list window.
