Configure the source address sent by DR.

Command:
ip pim register-suppression <value>
no ip pim register-suppression
Function:
This command is to configure the value of register suppression timer, the unit is second. The “no ip
pim register-suppression” command restores the default value.
Parameter:
<value> is the timer’s value; it ranges from 10 to 65535s.
Default:
60s

Usage Guide:
If this value is configured at DR, it’s the value of register suppression timer; the bigger one of the
default register keep-alive time of RP (210s) and the sum of triple register suppression time and 5. If
configure this value on RP without the command “ip pim rp-register-kat”, this command may modify
the RP register keep-alive time.
Example:
Configure the value of register suppression timer to 10s.
