Verifying Parameter Changes: Modified Constants Menu

The Modified Constants Menu lists parameter changes as a result of using an Application Preset (A1-03) or by making manual

parameter changes (including Auto-Tuning). The Application Preset changes are contained in the (Appl) folder while all other

changes appear in the (Std) folder. The Modified Constants Menu helps determine which settings have been changed, and is

particularly useful when replacing a drive. If no settings have been changed in either folder, the Modified Constants folders

will read “None Modified”. The Modified Constants Menu also allows users to quickly access and re-edit any parameter

settings that have been changed.

Note:

The Modified Constants Menu will not display parameters from the A1 group (except for A1-02) or E5-01 even if those parameters have

been changed from their default settings.

The following example details where the drive was initialized to Pump Down Mode (A1-03 = 6009) and then three additional

parameters were changed including the deceleration time. The example shows how to then change the deceleration time from

14.0 s to 24 seconds.
