Section 3 — VTR Interface
Identify VTR
25. On the Encore OUI, click on any blank button at the bottom of the
menu, then double click on
VTR Control 1 ( Figure 74 ).

26. Click Config on the right task bar.
27. Click on Create , and type in VTR X (or whatever name you wish to use to
identify that VTR).
28. Click on Device Port , and select the port the VTR was connected to on the
Serial Engine.
29. Click Type , and select Vtr . The system automatically detects the type of
VTR and displays this information on the screen.
