Filer Mode Vs. List Mode
CAUTION The Encore client residing on the Kalypso frame works in List loading mode.
If the Encore system Mach Cntrl application is set to Filer loading mode the
listing of clips seen from the Mach Cntrl tab of the Encore OUI will differ from
those seen on the Kalypso system panel and menus.
If the Encore system is being used only as a machine control interface for
Kalypso, the Filer loading mode view will probably not show any clips,
since they must be registered with the Encore/Omnibus sharer. However,
using Filer loading mode can be beneficial in some cases, especially if an
Encore/OmniBus system is used for facility and asset management. In this
case the Encore OUI can be used to load clips based on that view, then the
Kalypso system can manipulate the loaded clip.
The loading mode is set in the Encore Mach Cntrl application by selecting
the
Options button in the Ancillary pane, then choosing either Filer loading or
List loading.
Filer-Fax Overview
The Filer-Fax enables you to manage clips and other files on your Encore
System. Use the Filer-Fax to filter and select clips to load via the LMCP.
