3. Touch New Device in the Edit Device List pane, then select VTR as the
Device Type and Encore as the Protocol ( Figure 56 ).

4. Touch the Device Name data pad and enter the name you wish to use to
identify the device.
a. Enter VTR X (whatever name you used to identify that VTR).
CAUTION The VTR Device Name entered here must exactly match the name used by
the Encore system for that VTR.
b. Touch the Create button on the lower right. The next menu will
appear.
