Saving and removing items in a library
Saving and removing items in a library
Items saved in a library are saved as clips in a library bin, and will not be deleted even
if the session is deleted. Unlike slots in a highlight or playlist bin, you cannot specify
the slot where an item in the library is stored. Items stored in a library are sorted by
their names in alphabetical order.
Saving items in a library
You can store marks, scenes, highlight or playlist events in a library. When you store
a highlight item that has recording data from multiple camera angles in a library, the
data from each camera angle is stored as a separate library item by default
1. Select the item you want to store in the library.
2. Press the
Shift
button, and then press the
Add Lib
button.
Removing stored scenes in a library
1. In the Library screen, touch item you want to remove.
2. Press the
Shift
button, and then touch
Delete
.

Managing library bins
You can manage the saved items in a library as clips in a bin.
The procedures to edit bin names are the same as those in a highlight. For more
information about the operation procedures, see
"Managing highlight bins" on
page 58
.

Property panel
Shows the type and number of the selected item.
If you touch the panel to enter logging information for the selected
item, the entered information is also displayed in the property panel.

In/Out panel
When an item is selected, this panel shows the timecodes of the
selected item's mark-in and mark-out points.

DELETE
Deletes the selected item.
OPEN
Opens the selected item.
NEW
Creates a new library bin
COPY
Copies an item. In the desired destination, touch
Paste
to copy the
selected item. [Paste is not displayed until Copy has been selected.]
SEND
Copies the selected item to the destination that you set in "Network"
on the Config screen. For more information about the settings, see
"Transferring items (SEND function)" on page 60
.
CUT
Removes the selected item. Touch
Move
to move the selected item.
[Move is not displayed until Cut has been selected.]
VIEW
Toggles the view of a shot box to display/hide the thumbnail.
