K2 Dyno Controller Operator Manual

Chapter 2 Starting Up and Shutting Down
• 3D/Video+Key Recoder
• Multi-Cam Recorder
• Super Slo-Mo x2 Recorder
• Super Slo-Mo x3 Recorder

1. Start up the K2 Dyno Controller.
For information on how to start up the controller, see
"Starting up the K2 Dyno
Controller" on page 24
.
2. Select the Summit you want to use. Only the online Summit(s) are displayed.
3. Select
Connect
or
Reconnect.
The K2 Dyno Controller detects the channel type currently configured for each
channel on the K2 Summit/Solo and provides the corresponding selections.
4. Assign a channel's use by touching the rectangular panels for each channel from
C1 to C4 as follows:
The assigned camera angle is displayed for a channel that is set as a record channel.
5. If you assigned channels as Single Rec (3D/Video+Key Recorder) channels or as
Super Slo-Mo channels, set one camera angle for each of those channels.
6. If you assigned channels as Multi-Rec (Multi-Cam) channels, set two camera
angles for each of those channels.
NOTE: There are several important restrictions on the channel that is set as
Recorder depending on the video format in use.Check the release notes of the K2
Summit Production Client and K2 Dyno Controller before using the product.
7. For the player to be used for an on-air live broadcast, turn on
P1/PGM
.
8. For the player to be used for a preview, turn on
P2/PVW
.
9. When finished, touch
New Session.
A session is created with the channel configuration you set.

Player
Multi-Cam Recorder
Multi Rec
Super Slo-Mo x2 Recorder
S.S.M x2
