8-9 Changing the Channel Step
The channel step is the interval between the frequencies which have been
assigned to radio communications and broadcasts.
The default channel step can be changed.
The channel step can be changed to the one of the following units:
● Selectable channel steps
Auto, 50Hz, 100Hz, 1kHz, 5kHz, 6.25kHz, 8.33kHz, 10kHz, 12.5kHz,
15kHz, 20kHz, 25kHz, 30kHz, 50kHz, 100kHz, 125kHz, 150kHz, 200kHz,
500kHz, 1MHz
Some channel steps cannot be selected depending on the frequency to
be received.
MEMO
• Use 50 Hz for SSB or CW mode.
• For default band settings and frequency range, refer to P. 110.
1 Select the band to change the channel step.
2 Press the [FUNC] key to display on the LCD.
When the main band is selected
