6.2 DSP Glue Logic
The DSP Logic required to control all DSP modules on ATCA-8330 (Stirling) resides in a Lattice
FPGA. It implements these functions:
 Enable all on-board DC-DC converter for all DSP modules
 Fulfill Power up timing sequence requirements for OCTASIC DSPs
 Supervision of all on-board DSP module powers
 Debug Port routing. One POD header to 12 OCTASIC debug ports
 Implementation of Control and Status registers mapped via SPI registers
 An SPI Slave interface connects to Glue Logic FPGA for SP register access
 An I2C Slave interface connects to Glue Logic FPGA for IPMC register access.
