Standard Deviation
standard deviation (σ) = √(∑((x - μ)²) / n)

x = a Participant’s score
l
μ = mean total score
l
n = total number of Participants
The discrimination index can then be computed with the following formula:
discrimination index = ((Mp-Mq) / σ) * √((Np*Nq)/((Np+Nq) * (Np+Nq-1))

Mp = mean total score of the group of Participants that answered the question correctly
l
Mq = mean total score of the group of Participants that answered the question incorrectly
l
Np = total number of Participants that answered the question correctly
l
Nq = total number of Participants that answered the question incorrectly
l
σ = standard deviation of scores for the entire set
l
Screenshots - Displays the screenshot with each question.

Overall Standards - Displays the percentage of overall comprehension for each standard.
Results by Participant
The default Results by Participant report displays the following elements:

Printing this report will generate a
page break in between each

Checking the boxes in the right panel
adjusts the details of the report.

Correct Answers - Displays the
correct answers for each
question.

Answer Choices - Displays all of
the answer choices for each
question.

Response History - Displays
each response sent by the
participant for each question including invalid responses.

Response Times - Displays the length of time (in seconds) that it took with the final recorded response(s). Response
times will not display on merged sessions.
l
Overall Standards - Displays the percentage of overall comprehension for each standard.
