Cause
Solution
Top of form not set
correctly.
Refer to Top of Form, Section 2.4.3 on page 2-5.
Features 2, 3,11 and
39 are not set properly.
Verify the correct setting of Features 2,3,11 and
39. For information on how to set these features,
see Chapter 2.
Note: Features 39 and 11 must be set before 2.
Ink is smudging.
Cause
Solution
Printhead is too close
to paper.
Move printhead away from paper by moving the
printhead adjustment lever toward the front of the
printer one position.
