RECORDING FROM TAPE TO TAPE
Preparation
• Wind up the tape to the point recording starts.
• Use only normal (type I) tapes.
1 Press the TAPE button.
2 Insert the tape to be recorded on into deck 1.
Press the ■ / ^ button to open the cassette holder.
Insert the tape with the side to be recorded on facing you and the
exposed side down.
3 Insert the original tape into deck 2, and wind up to
the point to be piayed back.
Press the ■ / ^ button to open the cassette holder and insert
the tape with the exposed side down. Wind up the tape to the
point to be played back with the button.
4 Select dubbing speed.
The dubbing speed can be selected by pressing the DUBBING
SPEED button. Thefollowing display shows the selected speed.
Each time the button is pressed, the display changes.
For dubbing at high speed;
“H-DUB” is displayed.
For dubbing at normai speed:
“TAPE” is displayed.
NOTICE
While “H-DUB” is displayed, the O, ◄◄ and function
buttons do not operate.
5 Press the II button on deck 1.
6 Press the • button on deck 1.
The > button on deck 1 is depressed simultaneously, and
“REG” is displayed.
7 Press the
¡>
button on deck 2 to start recording.
The
II
button on deck 1 is released.
Playing and recording start simultaneously.
To stop recording
Press the ■ / ^ buttons on both deck 1 and deck 2.
