Language & Input Settings
Your phone’s language and input settings let you select a language for the phone’s menus and
keyboards, select and configure keyboard settings, configure speech input settings, and set your
phone’s mouse/trackpad options.
Language & Input Settings Overview
You can set the following options in the Language and input settings menu:

Language Set the language for your display and menus.
Spell checker Choose whether to perform the spell check when typing words.
Touch on the right side to set the spell checker options.
Personal dictionary Add words in Personal dictionary.
Default Set the default method for entering text.
Google Keyboard
Enable or disable Google keyboard. Touch on the right side to set
Google keyboard options.
Swype
Enable or disable Swype keyboard. Touch on the right side to set
Swype keyboard options.
Google voice typing
Enable or disable Google voice typing. Touch on the right side to
set Google voice typing options.
Voice Search Set your voice search options.
Text-to-speech output Set text-to-speech output.
Pointer speed Set the speed of the pointer for a mouse/trackpad.
