From home, touch > Chrome .
The browser opens.

You can also launch the browser by touching a URL in a text message, email message, or
Gmail message.
Tip: To change the phone’s default launch page to your current page, touch > Settings >
Home page, clear the Default check box, and then enter the current page’s URL in the Enter
URL... field. Touch ON to complete.
