Rethreading the Serger
Threading the lower looper
Open the iooper cover.
Place the spool of thread on the right side spool pin.
• Lower looper threading points are marked in green.
• A convenient threading chart is placed on the machine
body which is located inside the iooper cover

NOTE
If you remove the needle plate, the threading points of
lower looper are easier to see. Make sure the thread is
not caught by the needle plate when replacing the plate
after threading.
When threading, the lower looper pre-tension setting slider
must be set at the STD. position as illustrated.

E Draw the thread through the right side thread guide ©
from back to front.

If the thread slips out from the thread guide groove while
serging, pass the thread through the thread guide hole as
shown.

Pass the thread through the holes on the right side of the
thread guide plate as illustrated.
